We believe in the importance of a well-rounded preschool experience in which children have the opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually. Our Partnerships
Providing a nurturing environment that combines early childhood education with a strong sense of community and spiritual values.

Batavia United Way
We are proud to be partners with Batavia United Way, Success by 6 program.
The first years of a child’s life, birth through age 6, are the most important years for building a strong foundation for future success in school and in life. This is when 90% of the brain’s growth occurs, and children develop emotional and social attachments, as well as language and motor skills. Access to early learning helps build background knowledge and provides greater opportunities to practice these skills.

Department of Children and Family Services
Our preschool has gone through the rigorous licensing application process through DCFS in 1990 and has maintained licensed status since the preschool opened. Unannounced inspections are annually and every three years an in-depth inspection is scheduled to renew our license. Licensing requires that we provide an environment where children are safe and comfortable and enjoy learning. There are educational and experience requirements for staff and programming is required which includes age- and developmentally-appropriate activities, both indoors and out. As a part of the licensing requirements, parents are required to read the DCFS booklet below.

Batavia Covenant Church
We are honored to be part of the Batavia Covenant Church.
Batavia Covenant Church is part of a denomination of churches called The Evangelical Covenant Church. They have sponsored this preschool since 1990 with the purpose of educating young children in a nurturing, engaging environment.
